park at the Carrara Health Care Centre?
ANSWER:
I thank the Honourable Member for Gaven for his question.
I am advised approval has been given by Gold Coast City Council to proceed
with plans to
construct a car park on council land adjacent to the Carrara Health Centre.
Preliminary drawings have been done and Queensland Health is currently in
the process of
engaging Civil Engineers to assist in design and construction.
Queensland Health has made funding available from the 2009/10 budget.
I am advised the tender process will commence shortly and the projected
completion date for
works is mid-2010.
