Meeting4Action
Alex holds a series of public meetings on local issues. Relevant stakeholders and locals are invited to attend the meetings and direct participation is encouraged so that residents can have their say on the future of the area by discussing solutions to the issues, which matter to them most.
Flood Solutions on Coomera River
The first Meeting4Action was held on Saturday May 8th on long term flood solutions along the Coomera River after the recent damage that has occurred. This meeting gave residents a chance to meet with other locals, departmental representatives and Alex. As a consequence a local Coomera River Catchment Committee is to be formed. Please contact Alex’s office if you would like to take part in this group.
